We offer trail rides on horseback, from a one hour ride up to several hours, and even overnight camping, depending on what you'd like to experience. Our trails wind through the heavily wooded areas, ravines, cross creeks and include scenic overlooks of the Minnesota River Valley. Prices

Requirements
All riders must be at least 7 years old. For horse and rider safety, riders must not weigh more that 240#. Helmets are optional for adults, but required for riders 17 and under.
Email or call for reservations for trail riding. We adjust the time schedule for your individual group, or if we have already have a group riding that day, then we might be able to add more riders to that group. Normally, we start a morning ride around 10am, and an afternoon ride around 1:30. These are only guidelines, though. We are flexible. We ride in small groups only; a limit of 5 guest riders helps us focus on each rider (this is a change from last year). This is especially helpful with beginner riders or children who are apprehensive about riding. We can lead a rider, if needed, and we work hard at matching you with a horse that suits your riding ability. What to bring? Please dress for the weather. If it is pouring rain, we might have to reschedule, but have a lightweight jacket if it is cool or drizzly. If it’s buggy, long sleeves are a good idea. Have mosquito repellent along to use when you arrive. Long pants are necessary, and jeans work well. A boot with a heel is best for footwear, but not required. Your shoes MUST be close-toed, though. No loose items can be taken with you, with the exception of a water bottle on longer rides. If you have a camera, I can take pictures for you while we’re on the trail, or when we return. We will ask you to come 30 minutes before your actual scheduled ride time. This gives you time to fill out required paperwork, fit you with a helmet, if needed, and for us to give you a “how to ride” demonstration and a brief overview of what to expect on the trail. These trails are hilly and scenic, with ups and downs, and some tight turns, water crossings and bridges. If you aren’t comfortable with or physically able to “move with the horse” as he walks down a hill, or if you have issues with heights, this might not be the best choice for you. We can, however, cater to your group’s needs and if you would like to ride on flatter terrain to test your ability to ride, we can do that. On the other hand, if your group consists of experienced riders, we can take you on a more challenging ride with trotting and cantering. When you make a reservation, please include your riding level and confidence level. This really helps us to match you with the right horse and to take the appropriate trails. We want you to have the best experience possible!! Feel free to Contact Us with any questions or concerns. To make reservations, email me at sarahmaass@hotmail.com. This is the information I will need: Date: Time: Length of ride: Number of riders: Rider's weight: Rider's height: Rider's age: Rider's experience level: Add any other information that you feel is important. Please bring payment on the day of the ride. Cash is best. Credit cards aren't accepted (yet!).
